So they need to sustain the "handsome" level within the office. :P
But, talking seriously and with all the respect, they seems to have a
world class system in place (TB of data with 700m+ transactions a day
+ a super "josh" HW/SW setup) which should be a dream of an IT
professional in BD to get exposure of.
Think of it this way- given a task to create a report from that TB DB
to list all the calls that lasted more than a minute, can you do that?
Simple? How about given the restriction that if you take more than 10
sec to come up with the report you have done a shot job!!
Forget it, just think end of month billing generation. To generate all
the client's bill in a timely fashion how much time do u get to
generate the report for a client?
Will you do it on live DB or will you take a snapshot and do the
processing there?
In fact it's a very challenging job and as I said could be a dream
come true to many!
So, my salute to AKTEL for posting the job to this list!
