I got in touch with my friend who works at Google. He later informed Google's Youtube team about this.
My friend told me that, in the past, Youtube had been banned in several countries, but Google's legal team successfully got it unblocked in 100% of the cases. Since Youtube is a revenue generating part of Google, they take it quite seriously.
