Dear Jamil vhai This forum is fantastic, not because of what is published there, but because it was the first time I was able to read Bengali clearly on my Linux box. I have openSUSE 11.1 installed on my machine, but I could not read Bengali as Bengali fonts won't show up. So I searched openSUSE repositories & found a pkg (indic-fonts-2008.11.13-1.8.noarch.rpm) that contains some Indian fonts; now I can see Bengali fonts on web pages like Prothom-Alo but the fonts are jumbled up, especially the "Ae-kar" "Oo-kar" & "Ro-shi-kar" won't show up in their expected places. Amazingly while viewing this forum there was no such problem. I wish I knew what they are doing right or what I am doing wrong?! But thanks again for the link, for the first time I am able to read Bengali smoothly, EVEN COMBINED LETTERS SHOW UP PERFECTLY AS THEY ARE MEANT TO BE!!! Emon
