Hello bdlug'ers!

Thanks everyone for their interest on cluster. Like most other people I don't
have
much experience with clusters (yet!). I am first trying out a test
installation with 4 nodes (w/ Atom n270, 1GB ram & 80 GB hdd) with
ubuntu 64 bit server & apache hadoop. My requirements are load-balancing &
fault tolerant MySQL server and HDFS. I will keep
the group posted with results of my testing.

      Dear Mr. Shobhon,

The red hat cluster that I have used was not very successful implementation.

If you are looking for a multihost active active cluster, I doubt that you

will be able to use it in an Enterprise Environment.

You may consider other options like Solaris 10 x86, SUN Cluster 3.2 or

VERITAS cluster.
