Yes, the differences between the rich and poor won't be quite so arguable once genetic engineering and human cloning come into their own. At that point, we have the possibility of a caste system with physical distinctions - - acquired by cash - - beyond our wildest imaginations.
It is not a direction democratic governments should be supporting with public funds. Of course, I am not doubting for one moment that 'natural' will not prove itself to be superior in every regard. -Allan
