Dear Fellow Travellers:
January 6, 2002
It is a moist, damp day with low cloud bringing the mountains in and out of
view.Very much like a Chinese landscape where the humans and buildings are
small compared to the vast landscape. As Woody and I are at the ceremonial
rocks saying prayers with the morning Agnihotra fire we notice beautiful
colors, blue and coral, in the Northeastern sky. We have commented many
times these Holynights on how color now appears different to us. Somehow, it
is more brilliant and with less distinct boundaries. Woody goes to the barn
to greet Venus and the chickens and I to the house. Yesterday, while the
family was away, Venus got out of her fenced in area. I'm going down to cut
back some shrub from a Pine tree and there is Venus trotting along the
drive. Lotus and I get her back in her field with the enticement of some
grain and I then ponder how the gate got unlatched.
Venus has been very interested in the Three Kings Prep and almost ever since
we acknowledged that we intended to close the circle here she has been
calmer and more settled in . And she is wanting more close human contact.
She is noting something and Bessie's presence is also very strong and near
at this time.
It's after 1 p.m. In goes the pourable, smooth potion of the Magi, into a
cup of warm water. It blends almost instantaneously and we breath in deeply
the aroma. That scent changes one's consciousness instantly and it almost
bowls us over. A little discussion about amounts and we quickly realize that
we don't have that side of our brain fully present and it actually doesn't
matter.
Move into timeless time, check the heartspace and hold the intent. It is
almost 1:30 . Woody is out to the North of the house in the center of the
first garden at Aurora.

STIRRING--QUESTIONS ARISING FOR WOODY

--What'll we do with the leftover spray dilution? It's pretty clear that
the perimeter of our 33 acres, especially since we're instructed to fling
spray only every 55 yards or so--isn't going to consume much of this 2
gallons + 2 cups I'm stirring; we decide later to do two things with the
leftover, sacred mixture: leave out an offering to the deer, a couple of
cups in a wooden bowl, near a deer trail North of our home. Should the deer
drink of it, they'll carry the energy even further out into the neighboring
fields and orchards. The bulk of the leftover solution, quite a lot
actually-- more than a gallon-- we decided to bathe in the next morning, and
we have done that.
No instructions or studies or even an observation about that in the 3 Kings
literature; you heard it here first.

--What'll we use as a spraying/flinging instrument? You often hear a
wiskbroom mentioned, and they work well. But what we usually use with a
horn manure spray is a fir bough, maybe 18" long and as bushy/brushlike as
possible.

--What'll Barbara do while I'm spraying? We'd determined through kineselogy
[muscle testing] that I was to do all the stirring, so Barbara is free for
an hour to improvise. She dances in a spiral around the stirring spot,
bells on her wrists, then further out in a widening dance...it feels like an
invocation, and it is...a half hour into the stirring Barbara tests again at
my request, to see if she can "spell" me for a bit, and she gets the answer
now that yes, it's OK for her to stir as well. So I dance for her. All the
while we are both sounding, "ahhhhh..." "oooooh..." "eeeeee..." and a
didgeridoo sound I tend to make.

--Holding the intention, however, is more important than any of these
questions. I try out some ideas aloud, into the vortex: "We want to
encourage the Nature Spirits, those that are here and those to come, to make
a suitably friendly energetic place for them...we call to all the beings in
and around this property to be in harmony with the land, already primed with
Steiner's preps for 13 years now, and for peace and goodwill to extend
outward from its perimeter...we call for a web of protection and positive
energy to enwrap this place, through the atmosphere and through the
earth...we pledge to cooperate to the best of our own understanding and
energy with the spirits of this place...we determine to link with the
etheric webs generated from every other farm on the planet engaging in this
ceremony today...light nodes on a gentle web encircling the globe...Ho!"

+++++++++
Off we go to the North so we can walk East first. Woody is carrying the
bucket and I have the 2 fir boughs. We arrive at the location of
the"fairies" on the Northern edge of the land and begin there sending the
spray out with a figure 8 and sounds previously mentioned. Mostly eeee's
which are lateralizing sounds ones that encourage us to remember our watery
ancestors. It is a total surprise where 55 yards will take us and when we
find ourselves in a clump of conifers with all the water beads on the
needles we have that feeling of being in the right place at the right time.
Along we go on the Eastern boundary, at several spots we are looking over
the valley to the East and down upon a conventional dairy farm and comment
on this farmer's attention to duty. Up to the peak, the highest point on the
land and in the valley. Lotus, who comes the whole way with us, is always
the first at the peak, and we join her momentarily. It is a steep climb and
a little slippery in the wet snow so we rest a little, spray and touch all
the fir trees at the top. I am about to slide down onto the southern
boundary when Woody begins to state our intent . Ho! Down we go , into the
woods, and across the field where Bessie left her body in August. We both
can feel her presence and participation. Up to the irrigation filter, where
the second bucket is waiting which we realize is not needed. Along the last
of the southern boundary where a couple of neighbouring houses are. We begin
to cut along the Western boundary and instantly find ourselves on a deer
trail. Short conversation that we aren't exactly on the boundary, Woody
wants to go down further. I stop and listen for a minute and then say to
Woody that we don't want to move them too quickly. Agreed and on we advance
into a fairy tale like area with large erratic boulders, choke cherry trees
and the largest juniper on the land. It is somewhat visible yet invisible at
the same time.
Cross the drive and head on up the last leg of the Northern line. The energy
is heavy here and it is not only due to the steepness, something else is
going on.
Suddenly, we see a human going down the road above us. It's the younger son,
Nathan. He declares he has been all over the land looking for us and we meet
at the gravel pit for a short conversation. He has shown an interest in The
Three Kings and feels the intensity of it and now his interest lies in
getting to town to meet his brother. Lotus , has taken the opportunity to
check out the deer trails and we catch up to her once we reach the ridge
close to where we started. It is getting dark and we have arrived back at
the cross Woody delineated in the snow, where the fairies live. Om Mani
Padme Hung and a final spray to the Mother, to the Father and All Life
Everywhere. Woody passes me the bucket to slow down the pace a little and I
realize I got the easier part of the spraying.
One internal observation for me , during the Holynights, has been the
painful yet softening of the area around my sternum. And otherwise I have
noticed a much more etherial quality, perhaps a boundary dissolving of
consciousness. Is this what Christ Consciousness is all about.? Think I'll
stay awake for this dimension.
Many Blessings All,
Barbara and Woody

Subject: 3Kings Spraying Log

>The day was very dark overcast with wind & intense dampness. 29deg but bone
>chilling.
>When our friend Gina arrived to do the stirring, she brought the Sun.
>I had cut willow (for Water, from the creek bank), oak (for Air, had to
>climb the tree to get it), vine (for Earth, a horizontal branch of wild
>grape) and apple (for fire, hot burning wood & red fruit) rods to stir
with.
>A small Arbor Vita spoon was fashioned to scoop the small amount of " 3K
>syrup". We do not have a pond nor any rain water unfrozen so I borrowed
from
>the creek with SeuSeu's blessings. She had marked the proper eddy pool with
>crossed angelica stalks.
>
>We opened a Coning asking in the Elementals, Mother Earth, Sol, Luna and
>Grandma Moon. The Christ consciousness was called & came very strongly as
>did others.
>Stirring started at ~1:30pm aware that that others had and would and
>assumedly were doing the same. We spoke of the Elementals role in our lives
>& there meanings to us.
>I read aloud Hugh C. writings and Wolf Storl's writing on the preps. As we
>took turns stirring. At 2:30 the solution was placed in the sprayer for
>Four o'clock. We new it would be a race to actually finish before dark, the
>timing was best for many reasons and again to be doing it mindfully when
>others were also was of import.
>
>We were spraying only the 5.6 acres of Othala Valley. A good portion of
Moen
>Creek is up for sale so it was not appropriate to spray there though many
of
>the gardens could be in service this year.
>
>In listening & praying on this prep I hear clearly that the sprayed area is
>a safe haven & refuge not the only area in which they will work. I am
>confident that they will work on all the area mapped for the field
>broadcaster, but here is home base.
>
>Being such a small area I had checked in as to the 55 yards and got that 15
>paces was appropriate. We started at directly north from our kitchen door
>this is where the creek comes into Othala. The property is pie shaped with
>the small face on the road. The creek (a branch of Moen Creek AKA SeuSeu)
>enters on the East West side 5/8 the way to the point & nearly perfectly
>bisects the short side.
>
>Linda paced the 15 strides & I sprayed. Ned & Gina could not stay, but two
>of our cats walked the whole circumnavigation with us. Stand-ins I guess
but
>interesting and joyful non the less.
>The fence line is old & heavily wooded & brambly so tuff going as the light
>fell also very steep so now luckily the small amount of snow we have had
was
>less & the frozen ground a surer scrambling.
>
>We finished with several stars showing. I found it harder to keep the focus
>spraying then while stirring but this is in part why stirring is done.
>
>As I sit here writing you the Sylphs are playing woodwinds and horns out
the
>windows it's a very peaceful melody.
>
>Blessed Epiphany to you all & thanks for the help these seven days.
>
>In Love & Light
