Yeah I saw this alright, its abberent behaviour for sure, this sort of thing
happens occasionally in all of the doggie family ( humans too eh?) Point I
was trying to make is there are times when sterner measures are necessary
and justified, this mother and cubs was found and eliminated - no more
trouble and plenty of foxes left . I have seen scientific studies (and
examination of fox dung will verify this) where over 90% of foxes normal
diet is small insects, plant material, and scavengings (cleaning up of dead
things) so IF you can keep them out of the chookhouse they will do ok
Dont know where you got the idea that there is goverment insurance for
farmers in Australia WE are told that this only happens in America and
Europe (I always wonderer how much of that monster farm bill funding
actually managed to slip thru the fingers of the corporations an get to real
farmers)
