Excerpt from The Prophets Conference Report (from my perspective), by Eldon Byrd
Held in NYC at the Church of St. John the Divine, 18-20 May 200 1
Presenters included Drs. John Mack, Michio Kaku, Stanislav Groff, Ralph Metzner, and Russell Targ, Ram Das, Robert Anton Wilson, Huston Smith, Gregg Braden, Riane Eisler, and others, speaking on the Theme: The Secret of our Reflected Universe-Unlocking the Mystery of Heaven, Through the Science of Man.
The longest presentation was given by Gregg Braden. Part of his talk centered around the discovery of the Isaiah Scroll by the l)ead Sea and only recently released for study by scholars. The other part concerned recent scientific discoveries that will forever alter our perceptions of reality. He described three ground breaking experiments in the 1990's that unveiled undeniable evidence of a new form of energy, a matrix, linking everything. 'These experiments (one by Glen Rein), reported in scientific journals and presented to the leading institutions of the world, document that: there is a communications mechanism that operates outside space-time and that our DNA directly influences our physical world through a form of energy that had been overlooked (and is non-local) and seems to exist everywhere. It is also linked to emotion/intention. This was demonstrated by an experiment that showed that trained individuals could cause DNA to unwind at a distance. Also, they could make it REWIND. The most amazing video I have ever seen portrayed a patient with a tumor that was shown on an ultra-sound monitor. A group of Qigong master stood around the patient chanting a Chinese word that, loosely translated meant "heal.~ In a minute, the tumor was shrinking, and in less than three minutes, had disappeared completely! People have cured themselves of cancer and other diseases by changing their beliefs and emotions. It has been proven that our emotions influence not only our physical body, but our non-physical body, also. One of the Essenes doctrines is that what is on earth is but a reflection of Heaven. This fits the notion that the spirit world is interacting with the physical world in such a way that objective reality may be created by subjective reality.
We already know, from Hameroff's work, that information is clocked from the sub-conscious mind into the conscious mind at the rate of 40Hz. Where is the information coming from that gets into the sub-conscious mind? One of the profound discoveries recently is that information stored in water is not in the water itself, but lies in the field around the water. There is a ~quantum hologram~ that contains information about a thing--past, present, and future. This hologram has been detected by the De le Warr camera and by other means. NASA analysis (using their VP-8 analyzer) of some of the plates made by the De le Warr camera show them to be spatial and temporal holograms, not photographs or x-rays.
Shifting to the Isaiah Scroll--The only intact document found around the Dead Sea was all 66 books of Isaiah. In the scroll is a technique for praying that can cause profound effects in the material world. It is estimated that the square root of 1% of the population (currently, about 2000) can, with properly focused intention and coherency, change things in the world-dramatically. Anger, rage, etc. are selflimiting, whereas love, compassion, etc., can be infinite.
The Essenes claim that all the possibilities for everything was created in the beginning and they lay in a ~sleeping" state until something triggers a particular one. Thus, they intuitively understood quantum mechanics. Today we call this the collapse of the state vector. The profundity of this idea is in the notion that such things as healing may not be creating healing, but rather accessing the healing that is already a created option. The
question, then, is how does one awaken a particular option? The
Isaiah Scroll indicates that proper feeling-based /intention /
coherent prayer is one way. Faith is defined as the expectation
that what you ask for you will receive. The faith that the prayer
will be answered creates the desired effect by selecting the
specific outcome tuned to the request.
Although not evident at first glance, this also explains why
sometimes our faith-based prayer seems not to be answered.
Some possibilities are not allowed. Just as there are forbidden
energy states in the electrons in atoms, so there are forbidden
possibilities in the creative process of outcome selection. One of
the blocking mechanisms to being able to create the desired
outcome is a negative emotional link to the request. A
relationship cannot be healed, e.g., if there is anger, fear, or other
negative emotions associated with the request.
However, as we respond to ourselves and our external
environment with love, understanding, compassion, etc., a
change in ourselves will then be followed by a change in our
surroundings. As the coherency spreads, a marvelous work and
a wonder can begin to appear, and alter the circumstances we
find ourselves in. Einstein observed that we cannot solve a
problem with the same thinking that created it. Over a hundred
years ago, William James opined that there was a continuum of
consciousness that united all minds. In 1993 the US military
proved that cells taken from the mouth of a subject will respond
to the subject when separated by 50 miles, maybe more. The
world of tomorrow will be radically different that the world of
today. Today's science fiction will be tomorrow's world of science
fact.
In synopsizing the presentations, I have added my own thoughts
to those of the presenters, melding ideas into what I believe
reflects what they were trying to get across. If you would like to
separate them, what on earth for? Those enlightened enough to
understand what is going on know that all ideas belong to all of
us. That is the real world. In the shadow world in which we live,
