Yo, yo , yo...what you say is novel and therefor worth a look, something new... but there seems to be some kind of point you're driving at, rather than just a critical rant of the culture you were born into. Granted, things are not what they seem. But neither are they what they don't seem to be either. You seem to think that most people aren't aware that some of our cultural staples are bogus? Maybe the place you refer to as America has been over-thrown perhaps several times since it was invented in the 1700's? The fact is that the stories aren't that important, as long as people get along and work toward survival. I think there are two kind of people in the world, those who know that as a species we are incapable of a complete understanding of the universe, and those who are hypnotised by their own needs into thinking that they actually can figure it out. There is right and wrong, good and evil, pleasure and pain. And the only ! yardstick we have really is life and death. If a socalled lie keeps people together and helping them survive and thrive, who wants a self proclaimed seers version of the truth?
