In British Columbia, spotted knapweed (Centaurea
maculosa) is being fought with Agapeta zoegana, a root-mining European
moth. Other noxious weeds in North America attacked by leafrollers include
coastal wattle (Acacia cyclops), sea myrtle (Baccharis halimifolia), leafy
euphorbia (Euphorbia esula), St. John Wort (Hypericum perforatum), paper bark
tree (Melaleuca quinquencervia), cat-claw mimosa (Mimosa pigra), tansy ragwort
(Senecio jacobeae), broom-weed (Sida acuta) and cocklebur (Xanthium
strumarium).
