>It is already illegal in Europe to possess the sheath material, USA >is just a little behind, when they have to admit the reality of Mad >Cow that will be next.
Reality will not, of course, alter governmental process. I have to admit, however, that I'm pretty concerned that Mark Pudey's thesis has not raised one question or even a comment on BD Now! Talk about dissing someone's life work!! Maybe it's a lack of name recognition: Mark Purdey was awarded ACRES USA's prestigious LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for 2001 for his research and exposure of Mad Cow Disease. He is held in the highest esteem by ACRES founder Charles Walters. Acres itself is held in high esteem by Hugh Courtney (whose interview by Charlie will appear in ACRES USA in the near future) and Alex Podolinski (ACRES being one of the few places A.P writes for.) Sally Fallon holds Mark Purdey and his theory in the highest regard and has made him the keynote speaker for her 2002 Weston A. Price conference. http://www.westonaprice.org Jerry Brunetti and Will Winter, two nationally known wholistic livestock health consultants and speakers (Will is a vet), both hold Mark's theory and research as brilliant and thorough. Mark just finished speaking or workshopping in Vermont. Maybe Lisa and NOFA will share some of their experience with us. Anyway, if you think Mark is full of shit, put it up here, I need to hear it and I'm sure he'd like the feedback. If you've got questions that aren't answered in his initial barrage, now is the time to ask them. If you have any sense of gratitude for a man who has set his career aside in the pursuit of Truth, who has put himself and his family at risk and his economic welfare in ruin, please voice it because he's taking mail from BD Now! right now and there may not be another chance to talk to him. In the meantime, how can we plan for the day when the government takes away our sheaths when the Truth is before us? How can we imagine that We are They and We are going to sit numbly by while They take away yet another of our connections to the natural world? I admit, I'm truly puzzled. -Allan
