Hi! Micah,
If the problem area have been put in a state of being out of balance by
chemicals or fertiliser, BD Preps and Green Manure's will help feed the biota
and allow them to break down what ever it is that is the problem, if it is
chemical. If your growing season is long enough, plant a legume as early as
possible. When it flowers and before the pods form, mow or slash and plant oats
or like grain. Again when it flowers and before the grin passes the milky stage,
mow or slash and leave on the ground. Next season go again and if required do a
third year. Apply at least 500 and 501, but preferably spray the compost, barrel
compost etc. You are not aiming to have a product to gather, but just to heal
the area.

You will get a good indication of progress by watching the ratio different
between grasses.
