Stirred up some barrel compost last night. Was going to use my brand new back pack
sprayer. Got the sprayer out of the box, first thing I saw was a label warning to oil
the cap gasket and check valve before use. OK, where's the check valve? Looked at the
instructions. A big list of parts, with accompanying diagram with tiny tiny labels.
Finally found the check valve, way down there. How the heck do I oil that thing? It
would be dark soon.
Found a broom and used that to apply the BC to maybe an acre and a half.
One of you experienced people might post a little something on the care and feeding of
these sprayer critters. I used vegetable oil on the cap gasket, applied with my
finger. I'm leery of using this thing until I understand it fully.

Now it's unclear if I really will live at this place. Apparently the house has some qi
problems, and I'm not sure I have the wherewithal to deal with that at this point in
my life. However I will be involved in bringing the land into a more fruitful, tended
state.
