Hi Jane, Here we go with everything we've ever heard about repelling skunks. I've been told that scattering mothballs around their favorite spots will work but, of course, you have to keep reapplying the stuff. Also make sure they can't get into your garbage as that'll keep them coming back for more. Good luck--I've had the buggers take up residence under my house during mating season and let me tell you they do know how to party.
