I've use somthing similar...just leaving the stinging nettle to steep overnight (about 8-12 hours), then spraying it in the same dillution. Used it a few years ago when there were a high number of young leaf hoppers on my pinot noir. Seemed to help...haven't used it, or needed to, in the past two seasons.
