A neighbor was bemoaning the slow down of his 12-year old asparagus patch and the perennial weeds that are starting to take it over.
I remember hearing about a way to rejuvenate old asparagus by salting the beds. The salting also 'kills' the weeds. can anyone give me details on this technique? thanks -Allan
