The Schatz Inversion mixer might be of help to you here. It would guarantee
a very exact distribution of all mix components regardless of size or weight
so that when the mixer is stopped they would be perfectly mixed. The
lemniscatory motion itself might also enhance the life element in the seeds.
How this might relate to 'coating' is another matter, you may know the
answer to this.
