We do not have a website yet. We are looking for someone who could volunteer their time to make one for us, if you know of anyone you'd like to reccomend... The Sit-In is intended for anyone who wants to publicly demonstrate their anti-war sentiments (and who can't get to Washington that day). All that is relatively obvious. As far as activities for the day, we will have a line-up of artists, street performers, musicians, etc (many of them students) who will perform in different areas of the park. We are still looking for people interested in performing. We encourage people to bring their guitars, bring signs, dress up... The more performative the nature of the Sit-in is, the better. It's going to be relatively low-key, but there will be a lot of people there. Additionally, we are trying to expand the event to be a national college initiative. We are working with an organization in Boston to encourage student activist groups around the country to hold sit-ins the same day. Counter Clockwise is a student activist group, but we have connections with professional artists, activist organizations, etc. Everyone has expressed interest in advertising for us, though we will need volunteer help, as well. Please let me know if you are involved in any organizations. Thank you for your interest! Janelle Treibitz Liason, Counter-Clockwise
