This is Chris, Christy's other half (confusing I know) While I fully agree with the transmutation idea in my own life, I believe the power of change is multiplied a hundred fold when we can change something (transmute) but chose to rather use something superior to begin with. In this way we make an imprint on the world which says whoa this guy's even using food grade grease. If I just make the change in my head, it's sphere of influence is greatly diminished and there is also the possibility that I can be lying to myself. Like a friend that believes so much in his own "power" to overcome the neg qualities of a thing that he scoffs at the efforts of others, does nothing and becomes increasingly more negative, citing the problems without offering any solution. Maybe it's only 5 tubes of grease a year, but all the more reason to do it, the cost is not really a factor and the statement is great (there are alternatives), along with the fact that I'd feel good with it
When I was in an intense meditation circle in Tibet in the late 80's I felt that it was more powerful to just think and feel the thoughts and send them to the others.The master that was guiding us though this said That though this may be true, it is that the others here will the have little or no experience of these thoughts or feelings of yours and they will largely go unnoticed. Since that time I have strived to try to work simultaneously in both philosophies and realms. Thanks for the recognition of the not so obvious though, my deepest respects.
