Strong winds today with the sky tainted red from all the topsoil. The last of the green fades on the hills, never have I witnessed a spring (summer,yes) like it. On the bright side there's no spending 8 - 10 hrs a week behind a push mower. The bore still plentiful, but for the first time it is not overflowing, the dams mere puddles, beginning to crack on the edges. And this one of the few areas not declared drought stricken.
