Hi Per
By ourselves (at home) there are few oranges, lemon, tangerine, persimon,
pecan, queenberries, just for home consumption. The farmers in our association
work on horticulture, corn, onions, oranges, peaches, kiwi, apples. Sounds
familiar istn it. Thats because on the south we have a bit mild climate, winter
with frosts and even some snow (one day or two in a year but enough to get some
tourists) on the highlands (some 1,000 meters high) not on the shore.
The farmers we work with have already organic production thus it is not
dificult to work with bd, some are on the way to. We have had three courses on
bd since last year. And we contact with them regularly, its on the long term
but pretty enjoyable.
Nelson.
