Subject: Evolution....
Dear friend,
During the past few months I have been wrestling with the thought of
whether we can continue with our work with C-Dar World Forest
Foundation. This Society was founded some 13 years ago. After lengthy
deliberations and discussions it appears that it has to be 'put to
sleep'. A special meeting will take place on November 28th, 2002 in the
evening.
It was with your help that I have tried to establish a Centre of
Awareness for the Benefit of the Forests. But, in general, people are
not yet ready to support this work! The forests, in their magnitude and
fragility, are creations that have not found much of a place in the
hearts of many people. Even some of the more enlightened members of
the human race are unable to understand the significance and importance
of healthy forests. Trees, trees in great numbers, so it appears at
first glance, do not bring us much - ....... and whatever does not bring
us much is only too often taken for granted like: water, air and
sunlight. Behold the day when we 'run out of forests......'.
Without forest(s),there will not be much of a healthy evolution, I
believe. And it is that concern that keeps me awake night after night.
How will humankind continue if the forests desintegrate and dye?
Well, I will continue to diligently making the Bio-Dynamic Preparations.
I shall look after the small ten acre forest I am calling 'mine'. It is
a joy to see how it has managed to survive the dryest summer ever (six
months without rain). It also healed the wounds of a Borer attack of
unimaginable magnitude.
November 18th, 2002 is a special day at C-Dar Lodge, as we have to
butcher two cows. The herd has grown to 8 heads and we are no longer
able to support all the animals on the small pastures we have created -
although we are producing better and better grass and feed. I hope
that you will be with us (in either thought, meditation or prayer; you
do not have to be here in person). And for this, I am deeply thankful.
Last, but not least, I wish to remind you that Sant Nicolas will visit
C-Dar Lodge on Saturday, December 7th - 5:00PM. Please let me know if
you wish to participate.
With my very best regards Ferdinand Vondruska
