Once again, if people would get to know a farmer near where they live,
either at a farmer's market or at a farm, and talk to them, get to know
them, and buy their food then they could begin to taste & experience the
difference in eating vital food.

Then, as Allan is fond of saying (although it's bd food about which he
refers), people may begin to have adequate will forces to make good choices
in their lives. Using your intuition (developing it then if it ain't workin'
too good yet) is still my best measure of a food, a store, of any product I
am going to bring into my home, let alone my body. Yes, of course, thinking,
consciousness, activated will--all of these tools we have as humans must be
developed. Perhaps the first tool we must cultivate within ourselves is
trust. Trust in ourselves.

The article about the store scam was one I forwarded which was forwarded to
me by one of my friends. I was not at all surprised to find that it was
Healthy Pleasures and not some other store. The first time I walked into one
of their stores, many many years ago I thought/felt "yuk" when I saw their
prepared food, the produce, meat, and even the store itself.

Blind faith in a certifier without direct experience is useless. That goes
for a Demeter seal too as far as I'm concerned. We are given senses for a
good reason by Creator. If the government would spend energy on helping us
be more fully realized humans, we could eradicate all sorts of horrors in
our world.

Blessings,
Jane
