Here's inspiration: Some 2000 New York City high-school and college students
walked out of their classes last Wednesday and held a raucous, righteous
anti-war protest in Lower Manhattan. Some ways you can take action against
the war:
1. BAKE SALE FOR THE MILITARY
An Absurd Response to an Absurd War holds a "Roving Bake Sale for the
Military" and "Procession for Perma-War" this Friday, November 29, featuring
delicious gingerbread bombs, pro-war carols, and sparkly silver "Jingle
Bombs." Meet at 4pm, south side of Union Square. Bring aprons, oven mitts, &

2. YOUTH BLOC MEETING
New York City high school students are organizing up a storm against the
looming war with Iraq. The Youth Bloc, the citywide student and youth
coalition, is holding an important planning meeting at 4:30pm on Tuesday,

4. THANKSGIVING TABLE GUIDE
Print out this fact-filled guide to "Talking with Friends and Family About

5. WEEKLY SATURDAY PEACE VIGIL
