At least that is MY EXCUSE here in Minnesota. I can feel it all around me. The ambient political climate doesn't help either.
When I lived in Alaska, almost everyone got a "hair trigger" attitude starting around January. After a while you learned, and nobody said nuthin' to nobody lessin' they were looking for trouble. We were all armed too (which does make for a more polite society)! Since I started all this, please allow me to RETRACT all of my original comments. I now realize they should have been sent privately, if at all, and certainly not to the general list. Bless those of you that did not rise to the bait.
