Let's keep the the techtalk off BD Now! Anyone having RealAudio problems, please email me directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Secondly, if you are having trouble, please describe your PC environment. What platform? What connection speed? What sort of connection? (modem, DSL, etc) How much RAM available? How much disk space? What software do you listen to RealAudio with? Do you have the most recent version for your platform? etc
Make sure that you've used the RealAudio Player's PREFERENCES panel to customize the player to your environment. For example, my Player gives me the option of setting the buffer size. If I do not want to wait for the entire file to be buffered (best sound), I can set it for taking in small bites (like 14seconds) so I don't have to wait so long for the actual presentation to happen. There are other controls that smooth out RealAudio's connection to the soundfile.
After you've done all this stuff and you're still not able to hear the soundfile, then send me a note touching as many of the bases above as possible and we'll take it from there.

Allan,
I was logged on at 24 kbps and the initial buffer took about 5 min. before the sound started. It ran until 3:58 min of the 14 min clip. I waited and wrote a couple of notes, but need to go now, so I don't have time to let it continue to load. Anyhow.. the buffering time is longer than the play time... How about you Lloyd??? 'Bout the same?
