naturally treeless
I don't believe the Monaro is 'naturally' treeless at all, my own thinking is that it is as much an energy thing as negative ion generators or geopathic stress lines. However, the greatest difficulty I have with discussions of this nature is that people who are really 'big' on the spiritual side of things seem reluctant to go the extra step - and ask their spiritual guides just why it is that trees will not (apparently) grow on the Monaro.
