I am struck with the following situation: I have a Third Party Website which
provides a Service to me. I have to send a XML String and the third party service will
send me back a reply xml string. But the third party website is a Secured WebServer
Which is a WebLogic /J2ee Platform inside a firewall and it needs the incoming xml
string to be encapsulated within the Digital
Certificate they provide. My WebServer runs on IIS. I cannot send the digital
Certificate to all client browsers because it is practically impossible. Another
problem is the thrid party webserver doesnt allow arbitrary IP addresses inside thier
firewall and all the request to that server has to be from my iis. So i have to
register my IIS Server's IP address inside their Fire wall. Now my problem is: I
have to install the client certificate given by my thirdparty in my IIS Server so that
the xml String is sent wrapped by the Digital Certificate. But IIS allows only Server
Certificate generated by that iis server to be installed, how about installing the
Client Certificate. Is there any way out for me. I am currently designing this
solution in classic ASP/IIS 5.0, but i may be upgrading this to .net - webservices. So
can u tell me in details on both situations.
 Thanks
Vijay
