Hello, I am building a windows application in VB.NET. I have a base form (complied
as a DLL) on which there are 2 panels and some tab controls. I create a derived form
from this base form and add more controls to the panels. When I run the project the
new controls that I added on the derived form are displayed and everything works fine.
The trouble starts when I start coding for events/delete the code that I have written,
things start to get funky. None of the controls that I added to the derived form
comes up not only in designer view but also when I run the project. In the code view I
can see that the controls still exist but they are not displayed. Instead the base
form is what is being displayed. I have downloaded and installed the Loss of Data
patch from Microsoft web site. This also doesn't seem to help. I am working on VS.NET
2002 with .Net framework 1.0. Thanks, Ashwin
