i find
this important to say to everyone who speaks of coding standards, because i have
seen too much of misguided pretentiousness and introduced ineficiencies under
this gaurd :
please
do take alook at some of the books about programming style when you come to your
choices :
Steve Oualline - C elements of style
and
the eternal
The Practice of Programming by Rob Pike and Brian
Kernighan (or TPOP as it called in the right circles).
these
ofcourse expect a level of maturity to appreciate what they are talking about
but all the same, esp TPOP it will be well worththe money you spend. its got a
rather good section on debugging too.
just
my 2 pence - it neednt work.
rosh
