Hi Hope at least some of you might have done Setup creation
using Visual Studio.NET setup and deployment Project. What i am looking
at is if some you have already faced this problem or have done research on this we can
save some time in our development work.(Basically avoiding reinventing the wheel!!)
ISSUE: (it is really simple) During
installation process,installation wizard should accept some values it can be a custom
textbox,radiobutton or something,user enters some value,depending on user input we
should be able to Proceed with the installation in a programmatic way.
For example if user clicks radiobutton Typical installation -> it should go
ahead and do minimal installation
Complete Installation -> it should go ahead with complete
installation One quick answer will be 'Installshield',but i
want to do it with VS.NET,it is possible very much Eagerly awaiting
your response. Please revert back for any further
clarifications.
