Hi Ashok,

The compiler was originally called "PreJIT", though now has been renamed NGen (for 
Native [code] GENeration).  

Prejit--> which will perform translation once for the entire 
Prejit--> application.

With Default jitter, individual routines are jitted on demand, as required by 
execution and kept in their jitted form.

But the sad part is whilst JIT compiling can perform well on some processors, there 
are concerns raised over processors such as the Itanium.
