----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: KGK Message 1 in Discussion Hello Group! Some of you might be aware of a post I made couple of weeks back that showed the profile of a Hello World managed execution, that gave an insight into what all happens, like AppDomains created, modules and classes loaded, etc, when a managed application is executed. This information is made available by writing what is termed a profiler for .NET. The CLR exposes a COM based API that can be used to get all the details regarding managed execution and determine performance related factors. Software Artifacts->.NET Framework->Downloads section now carries the complete VC++ 7.1 (VS.NET 2003 Solution) source for both the profiler and the MFC client that automates its execution and usage. The source has commented enough to help understand what's happening. But if you still fail to understand, let me know. For execution, just ensure that you have MS Access Database drivers installed. Cheers :) Gaurav ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
