Hi Shraddha,
I guess you r getting stuck in the
"component updates" cd.. right ?
I was struck with a prob whien the
component update cd just hung after progress bar reached the end ! interesting
the same set of cds got installed without any prob on my friend's
laptop!
my cd-rom drive always gave me
probs! and 'cos it got installed on the laptop, i cudnt blame the cds. so i
tried with 2 other cd-roms and it worked ! just that it took abt 10hrs of my
sunday and abt 15-20 reboots! :O
let us know where
does it installation get struck.......

HI guys,
OK i got the VS . Net kit thanks to Deepak.
But now i am facing a BIG problem!!!
The setup is not installing the prerequisite components. as
of now the setup has only installed sp3 and ie6. FROM frontpage
extns onwards it doen not install!!!!
i m at my wits end.
i m using a pentium 3, win2000(prof). i have
administrator rights too.
what should i do? what is wrong?
