Hi Rupreet , See the simple funda of AsyncCallBack is that it's a delegate , that
helps you in asynchronous calling , Now Normally when you directly call a method ,
it's synchronous calling and your whole system will be put on a hold , till that
method returns back , especially when that call will be over the network , so , it's
a big overhead , alternate to this situation is Asynchronous Calling , that is as
follows : 1. Specify an aysnccallback delegate object , with a method needs to be
called when call returns back , which will have IAsyncCallBack Object as Parameter .
2. Then you call the begin method , to initiate the call and put it aside on another
thread and on the main thread user can get the responsive UI 3. Now as Method returns
a result , your end method specified earlier with asynccallback delegate will be
called , from there u can call Respective EndMethod and Pass IAsyncCallBack Object as
parameter and get the respective result . In .Net Framework there's an extensive
support for Asynchronous calling and you can get the best example in case on web
services , where for each web method a Begin and end methods are generated to ensure
asynchronous calling , so you can through following link to understand the whole
thing : http://www.dotnetbips.com/displayarticle.aspx?id=126 Tell me in case u
need someother help , Regards , Mrinal
