----------------------------------------------------------- From: KGK Message 4 in Discussion Hi! This situation is ideally suited (no, not for abstract classes), but for using Interfaces! Declare an interface like this: Interface IDataAccess Function Add() as Boolean Function Update() as Boolean End Interface Next, have a class that will be implement this interface: Class CDataAccess Implements IDataAccess Function Add() As Boolean ' do work here End Function Function Update() As Boolean ' do work here End Function End Class That's the way to go, since you are looking for behaviourial change. Abstract classes can serve the purpose too, but ideally, Inerfaces are the way to go.
