hi vivek,
there are ways to do it but one of the easy way to do is:
1. create a public property in yr control(say name is MyControl), like :
public string AccountID
{
get
{
return AccountIDValue; // this is a private variable that you will use it your
control.
}
set
{
AccountIDValue=value;
}
}
2. in yr web page(say MyPage) create a ref to your control and assign any value you
want to assign, like :
MyControl objCtl;
objCtl.AccountID = 1;
this will assign 1 to your AccountID property, and you can use this value in your
control by using AccountIDValue varaible.
