Hi,
It purely depends on which language u are comfortable with. If you are
from a VB background then it would be better you could use VB.net as u
can pick up very quickly. Or if you are from a Java or VC++ background
you can go with C# as the syntax you use in all these languages are
similar.

Hi Raagz ,   Well i would like to suggest it's more important for you to
understand the .net framework , asp.net , ado.net  rather than worrying
about the language , microsoft is very right in saying that there's only
syntactical or rather semantical differences ,   i have myself undergone
couple of interviews on .net and believe me they don't mind whether u
are good with c# or vb.net or for that matter vj#  , till the point u
know one language nicely to support urself .   Moreover the essence of
the multi language support is that u can always make components in
vb.net which can be freely used in any of the c# or any other language
projects ,   so , i think it's not worth worrying about this issue and
continue ur learning with whichever language u r comfortable with ,
