Hi Ravi,
Hope this is what you are looking for :
This VB.NET function will check for an already running instance of the application and
end the second instance if the previous instance is present.
Public Sub CheckForExistingInstance()
'Get number of processes of you program

(Process.GetCurrentProcess.ProcessName).Length > 1 Then

("Another Instance of this process is already running", _
