Ravi, I think the first method described in my previous post does say the usage of 
CASE and its limitation ...   Shri, I forgot to send a sample for the same ... You can 
work on these lines for sure if you plan to use that approach ...   Select ... Case 
when QR1 > QR2 Then
 (CASE When QR1 > QR3 then QR1 Else QR3 End)
 Else
 (CASE When QR2 > QR3 then QR2 Else QR3 End)
