----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Mrinal Message 2 in Discussion Hi , See while you are using some ado.net connection and assuming that you are having a totally separate database server then while connecting user name and password are passed over the network in form of plain text but connection string has some relevant settings like persistSecurityInfo , through which we can prevent this till the point we are not having trusted network connection , regarding various ADO.NET objects like DataSet , DataView or DataReader , it depends how you are using it , which storage mechanism , state management are u using . According to me these things depends more on Application Security , DataBase Security etc . If there's some specific problem then we may try to resolve it Regards , Mrinal ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/BDOTNET/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
