----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Rambabu Message 6 in Discussion Hi Gaurav, I understood ur point and u know i have been doing similar kind of stuff to check whether it is compatible on windows 9x or 2000 or any windows OS. But dont u think this is a trial and error kind of thing. Isn't there any methodological way to do the same? Arent there any tools(not the typical clear case , win runner kind of things) to do this compatibility testing for windows based applications... hasnt Microsoft devised any plans to do this? By the way....Hey Soni, u are Digressing from the topic, This question is not at all related to dot net. This is a general questions ....simpley saying "how do u test the compatibility of a windows based application". To explain much more clearly...if u develop an application in VB. How do u make sure that it runs on windows 2000 or windows 98 or (windows 2000 and windows 98) or only windows 2000 or only windows 98. Please reply... -Regards Rambabu ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
