Hi all, I have a query with regard to Com+. The scenario is as follows clsDLBase I
have a Base Data layer class created which has got all the basic functionalities and
some overidable functions This inherits serviced component This has
construction string enabled and has TransctionOPtion.Required set Implements an
Interface namely IDataLayer which has got some Public and some protected fuinctions
The same functions also have been defined clsDLCust This inherits from
clsDLBase Action Compile the Project Register using regsvcs Added
to GAC Problem When I look into the COmponent Services Explorer I am only
able to see the INterface definition as well as the clsDLBase class. I'm Not able to
see the clsDLCust as one of the components. 1. How do I make it appear under the
components folder 2. How do I suppress the display of the base class ie clsDLBase This
following Question is not connected with this problem 3. Why am I not able to
directly drag and drop the DLL into the COmponent Services Explorer. It prompts saying
that one or more files not found. The place where I'm registering from also have the
tlb file available Could anyone please suggest some solution to this or am I wrong
somewhere. I admit I don;t have full fledged knowledge of Com+. Thanks in advance
Regards, Vinod
