Hi All,
I have a txt file with UTF-8 encoded data (for e.g
French : La version du systme d'exploitation :).
Now what needs to be done is, read the
contents of this file and replace occurences of "French" with "French
-local".
What i tried is
FileStream fsIn = new
FileStream(srcFileName, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read);
FileStream fsOut = new
FileStream(destFileName, FileMode.Create, FileAccess.Write);
StreamReader fileReader = new StreamReader(fsIn);
StreamWriter fileWriter = new StreamWriter(fsOut);
string
currentLine="";
while
(fileReader.Peek()>-1)
{
currentLine =
fileReader.ReadLine();
currentLine =
currentLine.Replace(srcString, replString);
fileWriter.WriteLine(currentLine);
}
for e.g Input : (French : La version du
systme d'exploitation :).
Output : (French local : La
version du systme d'exploitation :).
where as expected output was (French local : La version du
systme d'exploitation :).
Can anyone tell me which is the easiest way of doing the
above operation so that no data loss of UTF-8 data occurs.
Thanks in advance,
RajDotNet
