Hi,   You can make use of the web.config file that will be created by default when you 
create an project in vs.net, This config file is project specific. Config file is an 
xml file, using which you can set various properties like, connection string to be 
used, authentication mode, error settings etc. Once if you the config file you can see 
various tags which are self explinatory.   In order to set the connection stirng you 
can use <appsettings> tag, under this you need to add an add tag and mention the 
connection string information a typical tag is below for your reference.  
<appSettings>  
<add key="AccessConstring" value="Provider=Micrsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data 
Source=D:\\Booth Tracker.mdb;Persist Security Info=False" />  
</appSettings> 
Here I have used access database, if you are using sql server then change the setting 
accordingly.
