Hi, I found out a very crude way to solve the problem. 1. I added a delegate so
that the specified textbox columns keypress are trapped in the Grid keypress 2. Then I
had to trap the key and set the focus to the user control. So some repated
maniuplations also needed to be done here. Temporarily its sorted out but I know there
is a better way to do it.(I wonder if there is any other approprate event where it
could be put) What I tried but did not work... 1. Added a delegate to the Leave
event of the GridTextBox redirecting to another function Result : this specific
column was skipped and focus went to the next column.I think when the leave event is
fired it would move to the next column automatically. Wonder if there is a way to stop
it tho.. 2. Same I tried using the Enter Event but this also yielded the same result
  3. Tried putting the focus related code in the CurrentCellChanged event but to no
use Hope this will help..Thanks again for all the help Regards, Vinod
