----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Pandurang_Nayak Message 3 in Discussion hi Dharni, As Bhavtosh has put it, there is no problem with very large strings in C#. There is no upper limit for the same. But if you did want to do a lot of string manipulation, Microsoft recommends using the System.Text.StringBuilder class instead of the String class. This is because the String class is actually a series of immutable characters and any re-assigning of values to String actually uses a StringBuilder under the hoods. rgds Pandurang ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
