----------------------------------------------------------- From: KishoreKumar Message 1 in Discussion Hi All, I have an issue related to Transactions using vb components in COM+. i have 3 COM components and for a particular operation e.g. update, the flow is like this... a method of component C1 is called, which in turn calls a method of component C2, which in turn calls another component C3 where the database write occurs. C3 component opens and closes a connection to the database when an insert/update or delete query is involved. The problem here is that i am not able to achieve atomicity, i.e. either all modifications should be committed or if there is an error in any component, then all of them should be rolled back. Can you give me suggestions how to achieve this?
