Actually, it can be trickier than that. A lot of virii now tend to spoof the 
"reply-to:" address to one of the addresses from the infected machine's address book. 
So let's say you are infected by a virus, and I happen to be in your address book, it 
is likely that the reply-to address could be set to that of mine. Now when a 
firewall/or virus scanner quarentines and replies to the message, it would land up on 
my machine even though I wasn't infected in the first place...
