Hi,
I have another way to do the same. Suppose you have a user control and you want make
one Button visible false, the button can be any control I have taken button for this
example. Here is how you will go doing this.
User Control
You can have one public variable say
     Public objAction As Object
On the click of the button you can say
    ObjAction.Visible = False
Page (Which is using the user control)
Add the user control (give ID=MyCTL) add one button. On the code behind file of page
add
    Protected WithEvents MyCTL As Test.TestWithEvent
Where Test.TestWithEvent is class id of the user control.
On Page load write
    MyCTL.objAction = Button1
Button1 can be replaced with anything you want to make visible false.
The process is little complex you can also see the attachment file where I have added
control(ascx) file and aspx file.
HTH,
Thanks,
Bharat
